What Are The
Group Classes?
The Group classes are 1 hour long online sessions, designed for GCSE and A Level students with the aim of developing their knowledge and skills. The classes act as a supplement for students to help them prepare for their mocks and eventually their real exams. This will be done by focusing on developing exam technique, going over exam style questions while consolidating any concepts as we go along. Different exam questions will be covered every session, with the aim to get through as much of the syllabus as possible, so students are in the best possible position come May. The classes will be running weekly until the end of exams in the summer.
How Do They Work?
Lessons will be conducted via Zoom, where interactive whiteboards and screen sharing is available, virtually replicating a physical classroom. Sessions will last one hour each day and will be conducted in small groups, with the aim to review key topics which students typically find difficult.
The classes will run from Monday to Friday, aimed at parents who would like some extra support for their children during the academic year.
Students will be allocated to groups according to their ability and year group, to ensure a personalized learning experience. Sessions are suitable for all exam boards.

Online Notes
During the classes, I use Microsoft OneNote. This is a digital notebook which automatically syncs and saves my notes as I am presenting to the class.
I share these notes with my students, allowing them to go over any questions we cover in the class, and I always set additional questions for students to try for themselves for homework. There are solutions to every question, so a student can easily check their answers. There is also a search function, so if a student wants to revise a specific topic and access questions relating to that topic, they can do so with ease.

The classes are designed to be affordable, so that parents have access to the extra support that a lot of students would benefit from, especially during the period of their GCSEs and A Levels
For GCSE, the classes are £10 per hour
(£40 per month)
For A Level, the classes are £15 per hour
(£60 per month)

A very overdue review!! Highly recommend Daniel. My son Cameron genuinely enjoyed his sessions and always commented that he got a lot from them - even recommending him to friends. Both groups and 1:2 sessions were of great use to my son and his confidence in Maths grew massively. I’ve discovered Dan only after maths paper 1 through tiktok then watched his youtube lives as well, and I wish I discovered him sooner. I highly recommend for any struggling maths students to follow him. He makes the most difficult of questions look very easy and solves in a very organised way. I’m sure any year 12s that follow him now will ace their exams, and I will definitely tell my friends from the younger years about his channel. I struggled with mechanics the whole year and after watching a few of his videos I found mechanics genuinely very easy. He also chooses questions very smartly, 2 of the questions he went over on live last night before paper 3 were very similair to the ones on the exam. I really appreciate the time he takes to post tiktoks everyday during the exam season as well as youtube lives dedicated to each paper. Biggest thanks to him, what a legend. Wish my maths teachers were like this.
Dan was very helpful with my daughter for her GCSE resit exams. He was patient and always informed me of how she was doing and how we could help her outside of tutoring. Thanks to Dan my daughter passed her resits and she is very proud of herself.

So glad I found Dan for tutoring my daughter. She is in year 11 and therefore was due to sit her GCSE but had lost confidence in herself and starting panicking due to upcoming exam. Dan was the best option for my Children. He is young and so got on very well with my kids. His great communication during lessons allowed my kids to very quickly learn topics that they used to struggle learning at school. He always made sure the lessons were fun and interactive which removed the boring side of revision. My kids really benefited from him and one of them managed to get a grade 8 in maths, which is 2 grades higher than his mock grade just months before. In just a couple of months, he managed to inspire my kids to push forward and achieve their goals. Thank you Dan.
I can’t recommend Daniel enough! My Daughter who has dyscalculia has always struggled with maths to the point she would have anxiety attacks preparing herself for maths class the next day. 3 months before her GCSE’s she relented and said I’ll give tutoring a try. Daniel has a great approach and instantly put her at ease. He teaches tips and tricks that really work. Her school teacher actually made several comments of, ‘Who taught you how to do that, your tutor?’

My daughter has always struggled with Maths. After her mock exam, we decided to use Dan to help boost her confidence in Maths. After just a few months, her confidence and understanding of maths improved alot and she managed to pass her Maths GCSE!! Frequently Asked Questions
The classes start at a minimum of 5 students and can go up to 15 students.
There are six topic areas that are assessed in the GCSE exam. Number, Algebra, Ratio and Proportion, Geometry, Probability and Statistics. A topic is chosen from a different topic area each week, this way the whole syllabus is covered.
For A Level, classes will focus on a combination of Pure Mathematics as well as Applied (Mechanic and Statistics).
All classes are automatically uploaded to Microsoft OneNote. This is a digital notebook which automatically syncs and saves the notes at the class is being presented. These notes are shared with the students, allowing them to go over any questions we cover in the class outside of lessons. So, if a student cannot attend a class, they can access the notes for that class and catch up.
Payment is taken once a month (every 4 weeks). The first payment is £10 for GCSE (£15 for A Level), if you are happy and would like to continue, then you would just complete the block for that month. Then subsequent payments will be once every 4 weeks.
Yes, there is a chat function where students can leave a message. They can also raise their hand, letting me know they have a question or just unmute their microphone and just speak directly. This is highly encouraged, the more students participate, the more they get out of the sessions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the online notes will always have some extra questions for students to try. There is also separate tab on the notes titled “Extra Solutions”. This is a folder with all solutions to the extra questions set in the class. This way a student can check their answers
No, students do not have to put their cameras on, due to the classes being recorded this function is disabled.
During the classes, I make sure to drop messages to students directly to ask them how they are finding the class. I always prompt students to message me should they have any problems.
A two weeks’ notice is needed if you would no longer like to attend the classes.
Yes, classes are run throughout the holidays!
