Look what I found 😅 – can’t believe it’s been a decade!

Happy Saturday everyone! 🙏 I hope you and your families are doing well. Starting next week, I’ll be adding new weekly classes for both Year 11 GCSE and A Level Maths students to meet increased demand and provide extra support. GCSE Year 11 Classes Foundation: Thursdays at 6 PM Higher: Thursdays at 7:30 PM I currently teach Higher on Mondays and Foundation on Tuesdays, and these new Thursday sessions will cover different material, offering two distinct lessons per week for both Higher and Foundation students. Price: £10 per hour A Level Classes Year 12: Fridays at 6 PM Year 13: Fridays at 7:30 PM I currently teach Year 12 and 13 on Wednesdays (6 PM and 7:30 PM, respectively). The new Friday sessions will initially focus on Pure Maths, covering the next topic in my schedule, rather than waiting until the following week. From January, these sessions will focus on Applied Maths (Statistics and Mechanics) to cover the syllabus comprehensively. Price: £15 per hour All classes are conducted online via Zoom. Hello everyone!👋 I hope you and your families are all doing well 😃 GCSE Physics Group Classes 👩‍🏫 For those of you that are in the GCSE and A Level group classes, many of you have also made enquiries about Science group classes. We have been working hard to organise more classes for you all and are happy to announce that our GCSE Physics classes will be starting on Friday 4th October! 🥳 The classes are for students doing triple science, this is to ensure all students are of similar levels in terms of ability and to ensure the classes are tailored specifically for their needs. Classes for Combined and Single awards will follow shortly. The classes will be run by Cherish Akaraiwe 👩‍🏫. Cherish is a fully qualified Physics and Maths teacher, teaching GCSE, A Level and IB and currently based in Saudi Arabia. The class will be every Friday at 6pm. These sessions are aimed at parents who would like some extra support for their children during the academic year as we get closer and closer to exams. Just like the math classes, they are also £10 per hour. Lessons will also be conducted via Zoom, and classes will be recorded so students can access the material in their own time to reinforce concepts taught in the classes. Sessions will last one hour and will be conducted in a small group, with the aim to review key topics which students typically find difficult. Sessions are suitable for all exam boards. Hello everyone! I hope you and your families are doing well and are looking forward to the academic year. 😃 For those that are going in to college/sixth form, I hope the transition from GCSE to A Level has been seamless and their looking forward to this new chapter. 👍 Starting from Wednesday 4th September, I will be resuming my A Level Group Classes for the entire academic year. These will be held once a week, aimed at parents who would like some extra support for their children starting A Level Maths at an affordable price of £15 per class. Year 12’s class will be from 6-7 PM and Year 13’s will be from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. Regarding the contents of these sessions, I’ll be following the Pearson Edexcel specification. This is due to the fact that it is the most popular exam board for A Level Maths. The content of Edexcel overlaps heavily with AQA, OCR etc. So it will still be of benefit to your child even if they are not on Edexcel. But it’s best to check which exam board your child will be sitting with.
