What Are The
Group Classes?

The Group classes are 1 hour long online sessions, designed for GCSE and A Level students with the aim of developing their knowledge and skills. The classes act as a supplement for students to help them prepare for their mocks and eventually their real exams. This will be done by focusing on developing exam technique, going over exam style questions while consolidating any concepts as we go along. Different exam questions will be covered every session, with the aim to get through as much of the syllabus as possible, so students are in the best possible position come May. The classes will be running weekly until the end of exams in the summer.

How It Works

Lessons are conducted via Zoom, with interactive whiteboards and screen sharing to replicate a classroom experience. Each class is 1 hour long, providing structured revision and targeted teaching on common problem areas.

The classes will run from Monday to Friday, aimed at parents who would like some extra support for their children during the academic year.

Classes run on a monthly subscription basis, and students are grouped based on ability and year group to ensure a personalized learning experience. Suitable for all exam boards, including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR.

Progress Checks

To help students track their progress, classes include:
Regular past paper practice
Step-by-step walkthroughs of exam-style questions
Concept reinforcement and interactive discussions

In addition to structured lessons, every half term, a test is created based on the topics taught that term. These tests are designed to be one hour long and simulate real exam conditions. In the following session, solutions will be thoroughly reviewed, and students are expected to have their solutions ready for discussion. All test solutions will be available in the online notes for further review.

Each session is designed to consolidate previous learning, ensuring students retain knowledge and develop confidence leading up to their final exams.

Online Notes

Microsoft OneNote is an invaluable digital resource that I have carefully curated to support students alongside our lessons. Each session’s notes are automatically saved and organized, allowing students to revisit key explanations and worked solutions anytime.

There are two main sections within the notes:

  • Lesson Notes – This contains all the key explanations and examples covered during the class.
  • Solutions Section – Here, students can find fully worked solutions to all additional questions, including those set for independent practice.

I have also curated links to further questions based on each topic, giving students access to even more practice beyond the lesson. The built-in search function makes it easy to find specific topics, ensuring students can quickly locate relevant notes and extra practice questions when revising.

How much do they cost?

Our group classes are designed to be affordable and accessible, ensuring that every student gets the extra support they need during this crucial period of their GCSEs and A Levels.

GCSE

(£40 per month)

A Level

(£60 per month)

With structured lessons, expert guidance, and access to recorded sessions, notes, and extra practice questions, students get great value while boosting their confidence and performance in maths!

Frequently Asked Questions

Classes typically have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 students to ensure engagement and personalized support.

There are six topic areas that are assessed in the GCSE exam. Number, Algebra, Ratio and Proportion, Geometry, Probability and Statistics. A topic is chosen from a different topic area each week, this way the whole syllabus is covered.

For A Level, classes will focus on a combination of Pure Mathematics as well as Applied (Mechanic and Statistics).

All classes are automatically uploaded to Microsoft OneNote. This is a digital notebook which automatically syncs and saves the notes at the class is being presented. These notes are shared with the students, allowing them to go over any questions we cover in the class outside of lessons. So, if a student cannot attend a class, they can access the notes for that class and catch up.

Payment is automated and taken every 4 weeks via the website. You can manage your subscription in your account settings.
